There are many speculations about the three murders in the walled house

Ashiqul Haque Molla (40) collapsed outside the house with his throat cut and bleeding. Immediately local people came forward and rescued him and took him to the hospital. Later, the bodies of his wife Tahura Begum (30), two daughters Ayesha Akhter (11) and Jarin (6) were found lying on a bed in the bedroom of the house. However, there is no blood or any sign of injury on the bodies of the three bodies.

Police are calling the incident mysterious. None of the relatives and neighbors could give any clear idea about the incident. There is speculation that Ashiqul Haque killed his wife and two daughters and tried to commit suicide, or that someone else killed them. As there were no signs of injuries on the bodies of the three victims, it is not certain whether they were killed by suffocation or in some other way. Again, the entire murder process has been created with three bodies placed side by side in the same bed.

The incident took place at Darwani Bandar Bazar area of Charikhola Union of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila at around 9:30 am on Friday. The seriously injured Ashiqul Haque Molla is the son of the former UP chairman of the union late Abdur Rauf Molla. He deals in wood and furniture. Local people rescued him and first took him to Nilphamari General Hospital. There he was given first aid and later sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. His condition is critical.

The local people later informed the police and reached the spot. As the matter was mysterious, Rangpur CID Crime Scene was informed. CID crime scene members arrived at the spot around 3:30 and started the investigation.

Around 11 o’clock in the house, it was seen that there was a crowd of eager people. RAB, police and law enforcement forces surrounded the house inside and outside. In front of the house there is a saw mill and a furniture shop called ‘Ayesha and Zareen’. Local people said that these are belonging to Ashiqul. Ashikul is known as Babu in the area. The house in which they lived was surrounded by walls. They lived in a room on one side of the house, the other rooms were empty.

Police recovered the body around 4 pm and took it to Nilphamari General Hospital morgue for autopsy. At that time, the police recovered a bloody knife (scissors) for cutting vegetables next to the bed. It is believed that Ashiqul Haq’s throat was cut with that knife.

Relatives say that Ashiqul Haque was under stress. His cousin Zakir Hossain Molla said, “I think he may have caused this incident due to mental stress.” But it does not seem that he can kill his wife and children like this.

Officer-in-charge of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station Tanvirul Islam said, Rangpur Crime Scene Team has started investigation along with Nilphamari Sadar Police Station. The legal process is ongoing after the body has been recovered. Ashiqul Haque Molla Rangpur Medical College Hospital is undergoing treatment for serious injuries. The incident is mysterious. Nothing can be said until the post-mortem report is received.There are many speculations about the three murders in the walled house.
